Recent I came across internet and saw there is an app might helpful for plant identification.

Technically, I'm not sure how the identification algorithm works and how completed the database they have (as current IT trend are most towards for Big Data and machine learning, which require complex analysis and many man hours invested).

To my opinion such application doesn't really help us to observe and to recognize plants.
It is like the sticker in the supermarket that tells us that the fish is fresh or not
