Hi everyone,
The souvenir of visiting the "Best goats and sheep" farm in Bentong is certainly unforgetable. Each activities has its own memory. Now I would like to share the memorable moment during forest excursion. As we concern on the compaction of the soil due to stepping, we explored the forest from the logging track only.
Longging Track
The first half round of this year, we experienced the extreme hot and dry weather. This unusual climate caused fire for many forests in Malaysia including the reserved forest nearby the farm. This situation was once a lot worried by Mr. Razak and Madam Intan (the owner of the farm) due to the fire where almost reached the farm area.

Despite the burning portion of the forest is still freshly seen, the forest is undoubtedly nice. One of the amazing discoveries we found on the very next of logging track was
Dipterocarpus grandiflorus where the tree is still fruiting. As the result, we found fruits on the logging track and many of them already germinated. According to IUCN,
Dipterocarpus grandiflurusspecies is stated as vulnerable.
