Hi all,
Vale Eco Center at Teluk Batik – Perak was launched yesterday January 24, 2015. The establishment of eco center is a part of MoU between Malaysian Nature Society and Vale Company with objectives: (1) to provide biodiversity information of Teluk Batik Forest, (2) to educate on the function of flora and fauna in an ecosystem.

The soft launching was attended by staffs of Vale Company, Efrem Daumas – Port Operation Director of Vale Malaysia, Henry Goh – Head of MNS of Selangor branch, Balu Perumal – HOD Conservation of MNS, some MNS members, Ketua Kampung, students and teachers, local government staffs, and public.

With remarkable recovery of forest vegetation after the last logging about 4 decades ago, the Teluk Batik forest is undoubtedly an amazing jungle. This beautiful feeling causes me a wish to map the trees into pericopsis.org.
