Dear Jimmy,
By the leaves characters which is costapalmate and the tips are finely separated, it suggests that the palm is Livistona. The nicely circular leaves can be Livistona endauensis or Livistona tahanensis. These two species is differentiated by the depth of tip cleavage. Livistona endauensis have deeper cleavage than Livistona tahanensis. According to your photo, the cleavages is not that deep. Another additional argumentation is their distribution. Livistona tahanensis occurs within Gunung Tahan National park and its adjacent mountains. Based on these two input, I would suggest that the palm is Livistona tahanensis
In the forest, palm trees are often locally abundance. For example in Gunung Kajang - Tioman Island, trees of Johannesteijsmannia magnifica grow in close distance within short elevation on a large open space. Similar phenomenon also appears on your photo.
