TFLSA program was held at Kota Kemuning on June 21, 2014. TFLSA program is organized by MBSA and sponsored by private institutions, and supported by NGOs and communities. This year, UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd. generously donates to the program. Ecowarriors is the loyal partner for the program. Involving with this community activity also introduce me to Sathya Sai Organization, a NGO which has been actively involved for tree planting since 2008 at Raja Musa Peat Swamp forest.
On this TFLSA programm, Jean Weber make a public speech regarding the local species of Dipterocarpaceae species the timber trees which are comprised of locally known as balau, chengal, kapus, meranti, and rasak. Indeed, this is the first time for him to make a speech to public community. This is also the first time we bring Dipterocarpaceae species to me planted. We brought three trees of

Datin Rossiti expressed her concern on plastic waste and noise and light pollution those cause the reduce the number of turtle breading on many beaches in Malaysia. Finally, the talk on civic science were closed by Bernard Eng who explained the tree handling during planting.
